Let’s talk!
Do you have a real Detroit wedding you would like to share with LoveintheD? Is there a socially responsible wedding vendor you love in Detroit that you think I should interview for the blog? Do you have an idea, suggestion, concern, or question for LoveintheD? Please feel free to contact me at loveintheD@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!
var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-37463828-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();
LOVE this idea. Thank you for starting this blog.
A friend sent me your link as I am planning a wedding for July in the city. Looking forward to more updates and sharing my successes.
One positive thing I can share, is that St. Aloysius Catholic Church (my parish, not just my wedding venue) requests a donation which helps support the ministries of the church – which includes significant outreach to the poor, homeless, and elderly living Downtown. Also, the couple brings a basket of food, enough for 2 people to have a substantial meal, and present it during their wedding. Although primarily symbolic, the meal is shared with someone in need and reminds the wedding guests that those in need are always with us.
I am quite excited to find what you have been doing here! My partner and I are planning a wedding for late next summer (August) and we would love do do it in the City (our city) as I’m sure many people call it. We want something unique and fun for all ages. Suggestions on where to start?
Jess
